I recently had my daughters 2nd Birthday and we had an Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Tea Party!

We set up a long Mad Hatter Tea Party table decorated with teapots and lots of polka dots and stripes. A photo booth with themed props using a gold vintage large frame, arrows around the garden guiding us down the rabbit hole, Queen of heart balloons on sticks placed around the garden, and face painting by the queen of hearts herself.

Alice arrived to the party together with the white rabbit and had a Mad Hatter Disco with everyone wearing their mad hats. We had some down time with classic games such as pass the parcel.

For lunch we enjoyed a variety of healthy sandwiches cut into Rabbit and Alice shapes, fruit skewers right out of our Watermelon Teapot (made by my husband), mini pizzas and hot dogs. We had a few sweet treats like colouful macarons, tea cup cookies ( so easy and fun to make) fairy bread and lolly jars.

Finally it was time to sing happy birthday! My 2 yr old was very excited to see her vintage teapot cake decorated with flowers, pastel colours, a splash of gold trimming and a delicious inside of rainbow layers from Cup Cake Dolly in Ramsgate.

All our Mad Hatters went home with a cup cake in a wonderland themed box and red ribbon!

It was a fun journey down the rabbit hole celebrating turning 2 I can’t wait for what 3 has to bring!!!
